Hurt Family {Family Session}
I was able to take photos for the wonderful Hurt family for the 3rd year in a row this fall. Mrs. Hurt has been such a help to my business, referring many of her friends and always being so encouraging. It was such a pleasure to take their photos once again--they are a beautiful family and very easy to work with. The kids are simply adorable and so sweet--even when it was freezing out they pulled through still smiling and giggling. They certainly deserve a prize for braving the cold. We took photos at a park area that had a stage, and several unique places for photos.

You do such fabulous work! I find it so difficult to get kids to look AND smile!
ReplyDeletelove these! you always have great work! dumb question...how do you get them to look like they're laughing/talking when they hold hands & walk towards you? what do you tell them?
ReplyDeletethanks so much! pretty much i just tell them to be natural...i tell them to look at each other, have conversations, & crack jokes. the fun thing about families is every single family is different, so their shots will end up very unique no matter what i tell them to do. just having the family be themselves is the best way to get them laughing/talking in a natural way. have fun with it, and don't be afraid to be a little goofy/corny yourself it makes them feel more at ease!
