Shifftlet Family {Family Portrait Session}

Finally back to posting my photo sessions. I have so many to share (family, children, portrait, wedding, etc.) and now that finals are over, I will finally have time to blog. :)

I took photos for the beautiful Shifftlet family this past spring (yes, I know. quite a long time ago). This family was such a joy to take photos for, and this definitely has to be one of my favorite photo sessions of all time. We had perfect weather, a gorgeous gorgeous location, beautiful spring flowers, and of course a lovely family full of personality and love. I adored the outfits that Mrs. Shifftlet picked out for the family, and they looked like they had stepped out of a J.crew or Lily Pulitzer ad.

It ended up that the day we took the photos, a wedding was also taking place at the same mansion as our shoot. We ended up having to work around it and make sure to stay out of everyone's way. Definitely a new one, but we still managed to get lots of shots and the Shifftlets were such great sports.
