Grandma, I am so thankful for the many best days we have shared.
Like the times I stood on the stool in my little pink nightgown watching you make pies in the kitchen.
Or the times when you would play songs on the piano and patiently teach me how to play chop sticks over and over.
I will never forget the hours spent finding treasures in your upstairs and the "yardsale" we had in your front lawn.
Or when we would pick raspberries in your backyard or ride Buddy the horse.
Some of the best memories were just sitting on your coach reading the many books you had. Like Strega Nona and Mr. Grump.
We spent such long hours working on various puzzles. The Wizard of Oz one was always my favorite.
I am so thankful for the countless conversations we have had over the years standing in your kitchen or riding in the car.
I am so happy we have been able to travel to so many different places. Whether it was Disney and Savanna when I was little, or Hawaii and San Francisco in recent years.
I can still picture you and Becca taking photos and laughing when mom and I went on the cable car.
And who could forgot our wonderful times in Hawaii complete with plenty of food, lots of beach trips, windy mountains, & those hilarious native Hawaiians (that one had quite the crush on you! ;) )
Thank you for being the best Grandma I could ever ask for. Thank you for the long hours you have devoted to serving me and loving me. Your kindness and hardwork will always inspire me. Thank you for always listening to me, whether it be about my life, the clothes I have recently bought, or my "book."
I have had some of the best days with, and I hope to make plenty more even better ones. Happy Birthday!
